Sellers and landlords can list their property for free on the site and agents bid against the clock for the opportunity to market it. This mechanism brings transparency and competition when it comes to estate agency fees, finding the best deal for the user.

HOW IT WORKS

FOR SELLERS / LANDLORDS:

ipostcode finds you the estate agent that can offer you the best deal when you are selling or renting out your property. 

You register for free the details of the property you want to sell or rent out. Only brief details are required on the type of property, location, number of bedrooms, approximate price bracket and a short description. Once the property details go live on the site, ipostcode’s database of 20,000 estate agents have three days to make a bid. They provide information on their fees and what online property portals they would use to market your property. When the time is up, you choose which agent can offer you the best package.

FOR AGENTS:

ipostcode finds you sellers and landlords and is a much more effective way to win instructions than sending out vast quantities of letter box flyers.

When a property is listed on the site, you can make a bid to be the chosen agent. Once you are registered on the site, whenever a new property is listed in your area, you will be automatically alerted. To let you trial the site, you get the first three bids for free. After that you pay per bid, but we offer various bundles to make it more cost effective.

You make a bid by providing information on your fees (sole and multi agency) and what online portals you would use to market the property. A maximum of six agents can bid on any property listing. Each auction is live for three days and you can change your bid within that period for no additional cost. 24 hours after the bid closes, you will be sent the contact details of the seller/landlord.
